The Net Zero Journey
Measure, Offset, Certify, Reduce
1. Footprint
Measure your footprint. To enable Carbon Neutral Certification, we account for your scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions following ISO 14064 and GHG Emissions Protocol Standards. This ensures that your audit is robust providing credibility to Carbon Neutral Certification.
2. Offset & Certify
Offset or balance unavoidable emissions via certified carbon offsetting projects.
Our offsets come from projects that are regulated and verified to the highest standards via 'Verra', 'Gold Standard', 'United Nations' and 'Plan Vivo'.
Once your offsets are in place, we'll certify you as carbon neutral for the year, allowing you to showcase your commitment.
3. Minimise avoidable emissions
Your Net Zero journey shouldn't stop at 'Carbon Neutral' certification. You need to establish a 'Net Zero' pathway and policy, identifying opportunities and projects that will reduce your carbon emissions in the future. This will reduce your reliance on offsets and further demonstrating your commitment to Climate Action.
Certified Carbon Offsets
High Quality Carbon Credits
High quality carbon credits are instrumental in reducing greenhouse gas and carbon emissions through various environmental projects. They offer a practical way to take responsibilility for unavoidable emissions and support projects that actively remove or prevent the release of carbon into the atmosphere.
Certified Offsets
Certified offsets represent a specified amount of CO2 that has been prevented from getting into the air, or has been taken out of it. Certified offsets follow strict rules and are checked by an independent group to make sure everything is done right. In simple terms, Certified offsets represent quantified carbon offsets that have already occurred, and are traded in tonnes of CO2. Certified Carbon Credits are tracked on a registry, serialized, and retired.
Certified Standards
We only use carbon credits that have come from the four leading verification standards. these are 'Verified Carbon Standard' (VCS), 'Gold Standard 'Voluntary Emission Reduction' (VER), the United Nations 'Certified Emssions Reductions programmes' (CER) and from the UK, 'Plan Vivo' (PV). These standards ensure that all offset units sold by Carbon Positive' are highly robust in their measurements and carbon reduction impact. Project selection
Leading companies choose leading solutions
Carbon compensation is key to addressing your carbon footprint. Purchasing carbon credits is a way for businesses to address emissions they are unable to eliminate. Carbon credits are tradable, certified emissions units representing quantities of carbon emissions that have been avoided or removed through carbon projects.
Carbon credits, also known as carbon units are vital to the business sustainability toolkit and are an essential solution to restoring nature whilst we develop ways to eliminate emissions from our business activities.
