Carbon-Positive provide two routes to offset your unavoidable emissions as part of the Carbon Neutral Certification process. Our Classic Portfolio and our Bespoke Route.
Classic Portfolio
The Classic Portfolio is designed to provide availability and cost certainty in a maturing and accelerating market. All Carbon units are verified by Verra, Gold Standard or Plan Vivo. The Classic portfolio contains units from a from a range of projects to provide diversity of project and reduce price volatility to those seeking to balance their emissions. Units are assigned to us and retired in line with your purchases and subscriptions. You can buy from the classic portfolio to offset one off events such as travel, conferences or you can also subscribe to offset ongoing and unavoidable personal or business emissions. Units from the classic portfolio are currently £7.50 + VAT. This is subject to change as units are retired and new projects are brought into the portfolio.
Bespoke Carbon Offset
For those with more onerous criteria when selecting carbon offset units, we take your brief and go searching for live or new projects, verified by Gold Standard, Verra or Plan Vivo, that fit with your criteria. We will vet their projects, availability schedules and pricing to ensure that the units meet your criteria and are available when you need them. We draw up a risk profile and provide you with your options. Carbon Units via the bespoke route are wide ranging in type and price. They can cost between £25 and £500 per unit.
